The Sea Nomads

For this project, the goal was to create a zine centered around a topic that personally fascinated me. I chose to focus on the Bajau people of Indonesia after hearing a podcast about their unique genetic adaptations, which immediately captured my interest. The zine became an opportunity to explore and share their culture in a visually engaging way. I balanced storytelling with informative content, using design elements to guide the reader through the material and create a cohesive, compelling experience that highlights a community often overlooked.
