For this project, the goal was to create a zine about a topic that genuinely interested me. I chose to focus on the Bajau people of Indonesia after hearing a podcast that discussed their unique genetic adaptations. I was immediately drawn to the topic and saw the project as an opportunity to share information about their culture in an engaging way. Through the zine, I focused on balancing visual storytelling with informative content, using design to spark curiosity and encourage the audience to learn more about a community that is often overlooked.
