For this project, the goal was to redesign a book spread for Black Beauty by Anna Sewell. I focused on page layout and creating imagery through type to rethink the visual language of the book. By paying close attention to hierarchy, composition, and how text and image interact, I used typography as both a functional and expressive tool. I also created type display pages to show my understanding of the typeface and my ability to present it in a clear and compelling way, helping support the story and improve the overall reading experience.
